The treatment of tooth implants are much less invasive then they used to be.

At the initial appointment, x-rays of your mouth will be taken. This allows me to see what the right dental implant is for you. 

Afterwards, I’ll mail you a detailed treatment plan along, with the costs of the treatment and a consent form. 

When you’re ready to proceed, then a tiny keyhole is made where the tooth implant is to go. A new root is put in. So you get minimal disturbance and you’re able to anchor a permanent tooth. 

Your implant then has a temporary crown attached to it. This is then left 8 – 12 weeks to make sure that the bone fuses into the new implant. An x-ray determines this. 

If your implant is successful, the temporary crown is taken off. And an imprint for a new crown is taken. The temporary is then put back on while your new crown is made. Once the new crown is ready, you return to have your new crown fitted. I only fit ceramic crowns as these are very strong and look cosmetically much better.

Once your implant is fitted we keep in touch with you in the following weeks to make sure your implant has settled down. And that you’re happy with the results.

And that’s it.

Same day tooth implants can also be done. In fact a broken tooth can be replaced with an implant. And, you can be smiling with the new tooth a few hours later.
